About Me

I am a fifth-year student of architecture at Woodbury University. From a young age, my interest in architecture was clear. As the daughter of a contractor and a real estate company owner, the construction site was always familiar. I remember my seven-year old self, sitting in my father’s office, completely taken by the floor plans stretched out on the tables before me. As I grew older and as our family travelled to different countries with different architecture, I found myself intently observing the details of the buildings we passed. I was absolutely enchanted by the Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona, for example. To me, the building wasn’t just architecture. Both inside and out, it was a true work of art. It was a sacred place whose concrete assumed the very character of its faith and sacrosanctity. This interest developed into a lifetime love of architecture, an appreciation for it, and a desire to contribute to it.
