Intricate subtractions
The goal for Studio 1A was to develop and understand form by creating a ruleset to help shape the model. The main objective was to play with the design of the 6"X6"X 6" cubes by manipulating its mass and void conditions. Then, 2 of the 6 models were combined to address the habitation problem.

The creation of a park pod was the last phase of the cubes that were produced throughout the course of the semester. The 20’x20’x20’ pod's purpose was to bring back some greenery around LA county while also providing a space for people to congregate or unwind and do activities such as read a book. The pods can be moved around the city because of their portability and ability to fit on two parking spaces.
